Philip thought to himself "may choice pa ba ako? They run this place and I'm just crashing in".

Night has come and it was a peaceful one at that. Servants are very busy, and most of the Edgers ay nasa mga kwarto nila at nagpapahinga. Si Philip ay nasa kwarto lamang at pinag aaralang gamitin ang communication device na binigay sa kanya ni Eric.
Philip: haaayyy. Nakalimutan ko itanong kay Eric kung anung tawag dito sa bagay na ito.
Maya maya pa, may kumatok sa kwarto nya.
May: Sir Philip, ang pangalan ko po ay May. meron pong ipinabibigay sa inyo si Master Lyndon.
He opened the door and saw an old and fat lady. Then suddenly a question ran through his head. He was thinking "if no one ages up here in Angaia then why does this lady look so old?" iniabot sa kanya ng babae ang dala dala nito.
Philip: Ah teka lang ha, anu ang mga ito?
He was handed some piece of clothing. Judging by the looks of it, it is his school uniform but he wanted to confirm it.
May: Yan po ang uniform nyo para bukas sa skwela.
Philip: Ha? Bukas na agad? I never really liked schools. Kung mismong mga Edgers may mga bully na nag e-exist, pano nalang kaya sa school?
May: Wag ka pong mag alala sir Philip. Hindi kayo pababayaan ni sir Harron.
Philip: Tinatanong ba kita? Iwan mo na nga ako dito mag isa! Naibigay mo na kailangan mong ibigay diba?
May: totoo nga ang sabi sabi dito. Kailangan nyo ngang matuto ng kagandahang asal.
Philip: Bakit andito ka pa? Diba sabi ko umalis ka na?
May: Hihihi. Akong bahala sa iyo sir Philip. Sisiguraduhin ko na pagdating ng araw matututo karin ng kagandahang asal. Magandang gabi sa'yo at matulog ka ng mahimbing. May kailangan po ba kayo bago ako umalis.
Philip: Layas!
May: Hahaha. Magandang gabi ulit.
When the old lady got away, Philip slammed the door and he was so pissed by the fact na kahit sobrang sama ng pakitungo nya sa matanda, nakangiti parin ito sa kanya na para bang isa syang batang paslit na kinukunsinte lang ng magulang.
Philip: Bwiset na matandang yon! Masyadong pakialamera. Pati pala dito madaling kumalat ang chismis.
Then naalala nya ang sabi ni Eric.
Philip: Hmmm... Hover lang daw over this thing at makakausap ko na sya. Anu kayang ginagawa nya ngayon?
At ginawa nga ni Philip. Maya maya pa a holographic image of Eric appeared.
Eric: Napatawag ka? Anung meron?
Philip: A-a w-wala. Gusto ko lang sana subukan itong device.
Eric: Hahaha sabihin mo nalang kase kung namimiss mo ko. Pwede naman kitang tabihan jan sa kwarto mo.
Philip: *blushing* tumigil ka nga! Asan ka ba?
Eric: I'm just right outside on a grassy field, by the lake.
Philip: Kasama mo ba si Rasia?
Eric: Hindi natutulog na sya.
Philip: Ummm... Eri...
Eric: Maari mo ba akong samahan dito? Yun naman ay kung hindi ka pa inaantok.
Sa sobrang tindi ng kabog ng dibdib ni Philip napahawak sya dito. He's feeling more and more in love with this guy. Matagal tagal na sigurong hindi sumasagot si Philip kaya nagsalita ulit si Eric.
Eric: Sige magpahinga ka na. Mukhang pagod ka na eh.
Then nawalang bigla ang holographic image ni Eric.
Philip: Teka Eric? Shit! Nawala na.
Tatawagan sana ulit ni Philip si Eric kaso nag alangan sya. Baka kase nagtampo na ito sa kanya. So he decided to just get out of his room and get a view of the night sky right at the second floor balcony of the HQ.
Pagkalabas ni Philip sa may balcony, andun si Solla. Looking at the stars in the sky and deep in her thoughts. Masarap at malamig ang simoy ng hangin kaya naman tumayo lang si Philip about 6 feet away from her. Maya maya pa she started speaking.
Solla: Bakit hindi ka pa natutulog? *arms crossed*
Philip: Marami akong iniisip.
Then they stood in silence for a while.
Solla: Alam mo ba? Mataas ang pagtingin ko kay Eric.
Nilingon sya ni Philip.
Solla: Nung nagsisimula pa lamang ako, sya yung palaging anjan. Sa bawat training inaalalayan nya ako. Napaka bait nya.
She sighed and Philip heard it. He knew that it was because she is in love.
Philip: Alam ko. Hindi madali ang mga pinagdaanan nya.
Solla: That is the reason I have sworn to serve him. Alagaan sya and be everything that he wants me to be...
Tumingala ulit si Philip sa mga bituin.
Philip: You know, I don't really care.
Solla: Yes I know.
Then biglang humarap sa kanya si Solla.
Solla: That is why I'm telling you now, that I am not going to give up. Hindi mo sya maagaw saakin. Hindi ko alam kung may namamagitan sa inyong dalawa o kung gaano kayo katagal na magkakilala sa earth pero hindi ako magpapatalo.
Hinarap din sya ni Philip.
Philip: Are you serious? You know how young I am? I'm only 14! Tapos kung makapagsalita ka as if it is legal for me to have romantic relationship with someone of legal age.
Solla: That maybe true. But remember, you're gonna be staying here for ten long years! Before you even come of age, sisiguraduhin kong magiging kami na ni Eric at wala ka nang magagawa.
She flipped her hair and walked away.
Philip: such an insecure lady.
Maya maya pa may tumawag kay philip mula sa baba sa harap ng HQ.
Geddoe: Philip!
Pagtingin nya sa baba, napangiti sya. Masaya syang makita si Geddoe.
Philip: Kuya Geddoe! Anung ginagawa mo jan? *chuckle*
Geddoe:Kuya? Hahaha Geddoe nalang. Parang pakiramdam ko ang tanda ko na.
Then he smiled at Philip at talaga namang nakakatunaw ito.
Philip: Teka lang. Bababa ako. Sasamahan kita jan.
Geddoe: Di na kailangan.
Suddenly, plant branches started growing from the ground and carried Geddoe up towards the balcony.
Geddoe: Halika. Sama ka sa akin.
Philip: Nakakatakot. Medyo mataas ang babagsakan ko pag nagkataon.
Geddoe: Wag kang mag alala.
Sabay abot ng kanyang kamay.
Geddoe: Hindi kita bibitawan Philip.
Philip: *blush* o sige... Sabi mo eh.
Then Philip hopped to the branch that was carrying Geddoe and into his arms.
Geddoe: Hold on tight.
It grew higher then it became a full grown tree. Taller than the HQ. They're so high up that Philip could see the city and the lake. It was a really beautiful and peaceful view. They sat side by side and really close to each other.
Philip: Kuya Geddoe...
Geddoe: Hahaha... Diba sabi ko sa'yo wag nang kuya?
Philip: Ha eh bakit naman?
Geddoe: Kase parang wala na akong chance sa'yo nyan.
His voice trailed off.
Philip: *blush* Ano yun?
Kunwari hindi narinig ni Philip pero malinaw nyang narinig iyon kahit pahina ang boses ni Geddoe. Hindi kase nya alam kung paano nya e hahandle ang sitwasyon na ganoon. It's his first time.
Geddoe: Wala.
Sabay akbay ni Geddoe kay Philip. There is no doubt. He is attracted to Geddoe but it feels different sa nararamdaman nya para kay Eric. He's so confused. So out of nowhere, he asked him...
Philip: Kuya Ged, I mean Geddoe... What's the difference between having a crush and being in love with someone?
Tiningnan sya nito. At parang sinusuri si Philip kung bakit nya natanong ito.
Geddoe: Well you know, when you have a crush on someone, it's skin deep and it's fleeting... Like you just admire them for what they're good at or because they look really good but it goes away... But when you're in love, the imperfections makes you more drawn into them. Hindi sya dumedepende sa panlabas na anyo and it something that lasts for a very long time. Maybe even forever. When you're in love, a minute away from them feels like an hour... You just miss them when they're not around. Yung tipong sya yung dahilan kung bakit napapakanta ka nalang bigla. The reason that you cry yourself to sleep kapag pakiramdam mo, one sided ang nararamdaman mo. When all else fails for them, ikaw lang ang nag iisang mananatili sa tabi nya. Kase, mahal mo sya. Kung tingin ng lahat ay isa syang masamang ampo, you would choose to believe in him and not listen to what others would say. You would even conquer death. So now you see, those are two very different things.
Napatingin si Philip kay Geddoe at nakapagtitigan sila. Suddenly, Geddoe leaned closer to Philip and their faces are just an inch away. He closed his eyes... Kase akala nya hahalikan sya nito. But Geddoe only took his scarf from behind him at inilagay ito sa balikat nya. Philip opened his eyes nung maramdaman nya ito.
Geddoe: Why did you close your eyes?
Philip: A-aaa eh... Kase...
Geddoe: You thought I was gonna kiss you?
Philip: Hindi sa ganun... Kase...
Geddoe: Do you want me to?
Napatitig si Philip sa kanya then he looked away...
Philip: It's getting late... Kailangan ko na sigurong bumalik.
Niyakap sya ni Geddoe and said
Geddoe: Sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable.
Philip: Okay lang kuya, I mean Geddoe.
Maya maya pa unti unti nang lumiliit ang puno then it brought them back to the land.
Philip: Thank you nga pala. Ang ganda ng tanawin sa taas.
Geddoe: Let's do this again some time okay?
Philip: Sige. Maraming salamat ulit. Babalik na ako sa kwarto ko.
Geddoe: maraming salamat din sa pagsama mo sakin.
He took Philip's hand and kissed it.
Geddoe: Goodnight.
Philip: *blush* goodnight.
Dahan dahang pumasok si Philip habang sinusundan lang sya ng tingin ni Geddoe with a worried look.
Mag iisang oras nang nakahiga si Philip sa kama nya pero hindi parin sya makatulog. Naiisip at naiisip nya si Eric. Baka kase akala nya tinanggihan nito ang kanyang paanyaya. He eventually gave up and got out of bed. Lumabas sya ng HQ at inalala kung saang banda nya nakita yung lake kase malamang nandoon si Eric. Ilang minuto ng paglalakad, natunton din nya ito. He saw Eric lying on the grass with his hands at the back of his head. Nilapitan nya ito.
Eric: *eyes still closed* I thought you were already asleep Philip?
Philip: Huh? Paano mo nalaman na ako 'to? You didn't even look.
Eric: I just know...
Pero ang totoo, naramdaman ni Eric ang damdamin ni Philip. It was so intense but he finds it comforting and this one is distinct. Very different from everyone else. Not even the same as Solla's feelings for him. Philip sat beside him and they stayed like that for a while in silence. Maya maya pa nagsalita si Eric:
Eric: Maari mo bang hawakan ang kamay ko?
Philip: Huh?
Iniabot ni Eric ang kanyang kamay. Tiningnan lang ito ni Philip then he smiled and then held it.
Eric: Thanks...
He never opened his eyes. Maya maya pa, kinausap sya ni Philip.
Philip: Eric, may itatanong lang sana ako.
Eric:...
Philip: Huy?
Eric:...
Hindi sumasagot si Eric. Naisip ni Philip na baka tulog na sya. He stared at Eric's face. He took the time to admire every inch of him. Humiga syang patagilid na nakaharap kay Eric while still holding his left hand. He caressed Eric's body at damang dama nya ang ganda ng hubog nito. Tapos umakyat ang kamay nya papunta sa pisngi ni Eric. Hindi parin ito gumagalaw. Inilapit nya ang mukha nya rito and he could feel him breathing to his face. Sa tindi ng damdamin ni Philip hindi nya napigilan na halikan sa labi si Eric at naglakas loob narin sya dahil sa tulog ito. After kissing him, he rested his head on Eric's chest. A few minutes later nakatulog na sya. Ang hindi nya alam, Eric was awake the whole time. Eric opened his eyes and saw that Philip was already asleep. Bumangon sya at ginising si Philip ngunit tulog na tulog ito.
Eric: Haha a kiss gave you such a sound sleep? You must really be into me.
Then he carried Philip back to the HQ and into his room.
Eric: Matulog ka ng mahimbing. Mahal na prinsesa.
He kissed him in the forehead and then went out of the room.

Morning came in at may naramdaman nanaman si Philip na humahawak sa ilong nya. He assumed it was Rasia at baka gawin nanaman nito ang nakakabwiset na panggigising na ginawa nito kahapon kaya sinapo nya ang ulo nito. But unfortunately iba ang nasapo nya.
Eric: Woah!
He opened his eyes to see na ang nahawakan nya ay ang umbok sa harap ni Eric. Napsinghap si Philip.
Philip: OMG!
Agad na inalis ni Philip ang mga kamay nya at nakita nya na nakasquat sa kanya si Eric.
Eric: Matindi talaga pag nanasa mo sakin ano?
Philip: Ha?! Eh bakit naman kase ganyan ang position mo? Unggoy ka ba?
Eric: Bakit masama ba? Si Rasia nga inupuan ka pa sa mukha. Tsaka ang gwapo ko naman para maging unggoy.
Philip: Ugh! Get away from me!
Bumaba na si Eric at bumangon naman si Philip.
Philip: Ang aga aga mo namang mang gising.
Eric: Hate to break it to you but today's your first day in school and you're gonna be late.
Philip: Oh please don't remind me.
Eric: Well go on. Mag prepare ka na. Pababaunan ka nalang ng makakain ni Aunt May.
Philip: That old lady again?! Gosh this is the worst.
Eric: Hey, Aunt May is nice you know.
Philip: Teka nga lang pala, why is it that Aunt May is looking really old? You said everyone stops aging at the age of 26 diba?
Eric: I'll explain it to you later but right now you've got to prepare. Or do you want me to help you?
Philip: Alam mo ikaw, nilalason mo ang inosente kong pag iisip.
Eric: I'm pretty sure that I'm not. Hahaha dirty minded ka lang kase.
Sabay pisil sa pisngi ni Philip.
Philip: Aray!!!
Then Eric went out of the room.
Naligo na si Philip at nagpalit ng damit. Maya maya pa bumukas ang pinto ng kwarto nya.
Harron: Wow! You look really good in that uniform!
Philip: Yeah I know. But my problem is, you didn't knock before barging in!
Harron: sorry naman haha. Excited lang kase ako na may makakasama na ko sa school mula sa HQ.
Philip: *sigh* school must've been really fun for you. You might even be famous.
Harron: I don't know about that. But I've been receiving love letters every now and then.
Philip: like how often?
Harron: Uh... Siguro mga 3 times a day lang.
Philip: Ha?! 3 times a day? Pwede ba! Lumayo ka nga muna sakin at naiirita ako sa'yo!
Harron: Hahaha! Wag nang maarte. Tara na.
Inakbayan sya ni Harron at hinatak syang palabas ng kwarto at papunta sa entrance ng HQ. Nandoon si Eric at Rasia.
Eric: Ingat sa skwela ha bata? Sana mag enjoy ka.
Rasia: Hahaha sigurado ako, maraming magiging kaaway yang walang modong bata na yan.
Napasimangot ng tingin si Philip kay rasia. Yumukod sya at hinila ang tenga nito.
Rasia: Aray!!!
Philip: Pag hindi mo tinikom yang bibig mo, papakuan ko na yan!
Rasia: Eric tulong!
Eric: Tama na yan Philip. Sige na lumakad na kayo.
At lumabas na silang dalawa ni Harron. Bago sila makalabas ng gate may humatak kay Philip. Pag lingon nya, nakita nya si Lily.
Philip: Teka Lily bitiwan mo ko nasasaktan ako. Harron!
Lily: Don't bother. He will not be able to hear or see you.
Lily's voice was very calm but it's so terrifying.
Philip: Aray! Anu ba?! You're hurting me!
Nagtataka si Harron dahil kani kanina lang magkasama silang naglalakad ni Philip. Hinanap nya ito pero hindi nya makita kaya bumalik ulit sya sa loob.
Lily: I sense a great power in you. But also a great evil. Sino ka bang talaga?!
Philip: Anu bang pinagsasabi mo?!
Lily: Look into my eyes and tell me who you are.
Biglang nag kulay itim ang mata ni Lily at tinitigan nya sa mata si Philip and just like that, he lost himself. He stared blankly as if he was hypnotized.
Lily: Tell me who you are.
Then suddenly, Philip was a different person. He stared at Lily and smiled like an evil villain.
Prima Philip: You shouldn't play with forces you don't understand bitch.

Lily was almost losing her breath.
Prima Philip: When I kill you, I will devour your Hauwaor and it will be mine!
Lily: Ughh....
Tumitirik na ang mata ni Lily.
Prima Philip: Goodbye Edger...
